| We Won the People's Choice Award! |
The people came, the people saw, the people
judged, and the people chose our scarecrow! Our
victory marks the first time the Doghouse, in its long
history of scarecrow success, has ever won the
People's Choice Award. At the Pumpkin Farm we
took 2nd place! Another first in Doghouse history.

We are making Fraggle Rock Puppets! For
the Fraggle Rock theater. Were going to make a
puppet show for our buddies in first grade. We
had to write our own script for the show. We
had to make a story with a character trait and
we all picked different character traits. A bunch
of people enjoyed this!
RECORDERS
For the past few weeks we have been practicing
recorders, a musical instrument between a clarinet and the
flute.
Every Monday, we practice some notes and also songs
that we have to test for on Fridays. Every Friday, if you pass,
we will get a tie for our recorders. It depends on what tie you
get because every song has a different color tie. For now,
the highest ranked people are Alexis, Cassie, Sierra, Rachel,
and Miranda.
The different ranks are Groupies, roadies, and Band
members. To become a Groupie you need to pass Hot Cross
Buns. To become a Roadie you must pass Jolly Old St. Nick.
And also to become a Band Member you need to pass Mary
Had A Little Lamb. Once you pass that you are free to play
any song in any order and when you are a Band Member you
play concerts for our first grade buddies.
